Frequently asked questions

I can’t do a pull up! Can I take part in an Aerial Class?

Yes! Aerial is one of the best ways to increase your upper body strength. Our coaches are not only qualified Aerial Coaches, but also Personal Trainers. If anyone knows how to increase your strength, it’s us!

What should I wear to class?

Wear comfortable, fitted clothing that covers the backs of your knees. It is best to bring a long sleeve top in your bag to protect your underarms if needed. No jewellery can be work during class, so best to leave it at home, or tape it up if its unable to be removed. Bring your own water, aerial is thirsty work!

What if I’m scared of heights?

Many professional aerialists are! However, we start low to the ground and teach you how to feel safe and supported. Most of our students find their confidence and trust in themselves over the first few sessions. You’ll soon be asking if you can go higher!

Will I be the only beginner?

Definitely not. We welcome beginners every single week! We always offer alternative moves for each individuals ability.

What if I cant do something in class?

You’re never expected to get the moves right away, thats what we are here for. We will offer you progressions, alternatives and lots of encouragement. Everyone will cheer you on when you do get that challenging move!

Is Aerial dangerous?

Safety is our top priority. We use professional grade equipment and crash mats. The equipment is inspected regularly and all our teachers are fully trained and insured.

Am I too old/young to start Aerial?

Absolutely not! You’re never too old or young to start aerial. As long as you’re excited to learn, you’re the perfect age. Our students have ranged from 6-70s. We have Child and Teen Courses and Workshops running regularly and our Adult Beginners Classes are open to all ages. We recommend starting with a Private Lesson if you’re nervous.
